Directions to cruise port from New York Penn Station
By public transportation:
Walk to 33rd Street PATH station.
Take PATH train to Jersey City - Exchange Place or
Hoboken. Outside of PATH station, take the NJ Hudson-Bergen Light Rail to
Bayonne. Get off at the 34th Street Station in Bayonne. You are
now directly across Route 440 from the Peninsula at Bayonne
Harbor, which includes the Cape Liberty Cruise Port.
A taxi going all the way from New York Penn Station (or
any other place in Manhattan for that matter) to Cape Liberty
Cruise Terminal would cost about $65 and would take about 40
minutes

Luggage storage at New York Penn Station
If you want to visit the city, but have luggage slowing you down, you can leave those at the
Amtrak's Baggage office for $5 - you'll have to present either a NJ Transit or
an Amtrak train ticket.
You can use the following map to locate the luggages services inside Penn
Station (only Amtrak area shown on map follow signs to Amtrak first if
not coming by Amtrak).
If you have access to the Club Acela, you may also leave your
luggage there, for free.
Alternatively, if you are staying at an
hotel, you may check your luggage there. The New Yorker, for
instance, located next to Penn Station, has such luggage storage
service.

By public transportation
Take a Bus 62 (cheap but unconvenient) or Airtrain/NJ Transit (more expensive but more convenient) to Newark Penn
Station, take PATH Train toward World Trade Center. Exit at Jersey City - Exchange Place. Outside of PATH station, take the
NJ Hudson-Bergen Light Rail to Bayonne. Get off at the 34th Street Station in Bayonne. You are now directly across Route 440
