Directions to cruise port from Barcelona Airport:

Taking a taxi from the airport is a convenient way to get to the cruise port.

Other alternatives can be found here. Feel free to let me know if you believe that once such alternative would be better.

Price:

  • Taxi: About 25 euros

Time required:

  • About 30 minutes

Directions to cruise port from Barcelona Estacio de Franca - train station:

Barcelona has two train station: Barcelona Sants and Barcelona Estacio de Franca.
Make sure that your train is arriving in Barcelona Estacio de Franca as this one is close to the cruise port.

By taxi:

A taxi would cost around 8 euros from Barcelona Estacio de Franca and the trip would take about 10 minutes.

I believe that the taxi to be the best way to get to Barcelona's cuise port.

Price:

  • Taxi: 8 euros

Time required:

  • Taxi: 10 minutes (excluding wait to find a taxi)

On foot / subway ("Metro"):

Probably not worth the trouble when compared to the taxi, but here is the information if interested:

Barcelona does have a subway system, however Barceloneta (the station closest to Estacio de Franca) and Drassanes (the station closest to the cruise port) are not on the same line. It is possible to go from Barceloneta to Drassanes by transfering in Passeig de Gracia. Barcelona's subway ("Metro") map

You can walk from Barcelona Estacio de Franca along Passeig de Colom to Christopher Columus Monument - where you will be able to catch a blue bus:

Once you have reached the cruise port, you may take a blue bus for 2 euros in order to reach your pier (depending on the pier used by your cruise ship, the distance between Christopher Columus Monument and your ship may be greater than the one you just traveled between Estacio de Franca and Christopher Columus Monument). A great map of the port as well as more explainations regarding blue buses can be found at Barcelona Tourist Guide.

Price:

  • Walking is free

  • Blue bus: 2 euros

Time required:

  • Walking: About 30 minutes

  • Blue bus: About 20 minutes
